OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW

Shadoz is a cinematic black-and-white photography agency template I envisioned and branded from scratch. It’s more than a portfolio it’s a visual experience built around contrast, emotion, and stillness.

THE

Opportunity

Opportunity

I wanted to challenge myself to build a bold, emotional brand, one that didn't rely on color to make an impact.

With black and white photography, everything depends on depth, light, and space. That idea shaped every part of Shadoz from the name, to the layout, to the interactions. I treated this not just as a design challenge, but as a chance to build a brand identity with a focused niche and powerful storytelling.

ROLE

ROLE

This was a solo project, I wore every hat.

  • Brand Ideation & Naming

  • Tone of Voice + Microcopy

  • UI Design (Figma to Framer)

  • Built completely on Framer, using scroll effects, pinned sections, and intentional whitespace

  • Componentized layout for reusability and speed

I designed everything to feel slow, cinematic, and intentional — where every scroll and transition felt like a breath.

OUTCOME

OUTCOME

The result was a high-impact landing page that:

  • Felt like a short film in web format

  • Used contrast and space to guide attention

  • Was fully responsive and lightweight

  • Reusable layout blocks for future client templates

  • Served as a base for me to prototype and experiment with framerCMS, animations, and layouts

Shadoz became more than just a design piece, it became a template for how I want to build artful, niche-first brands in the future.

What I Learned

  • Designing with restraint is harder than it looks, especially in black and white

  • Typography, spacing, and hierarchy became my most powerful tools

  • I grew confident in building high-conversion landing pages that didn’t feel salesy

  • I refined my eye for how emotion and motion interplay in UX
